This Raging Heat

As most of you know I am originally from Houston and I went back home this week to visit and work. I still have my family home there and OMG the heat. Being away from here makes me realize that it is toooo hot in Texas. But of course us FFW still have to look good and being stylish is the name of the game. Today I wore one of my favorite dressed from eShakti, this dress was $69.95, but now it is on sale for $59.95.They have some of the cutest clothes and they are having a great sale. Love this place! Thanks eShakti for keeping us stylish even in this heat!

Your Foundations

Today I am going to share with you something that has been on my mind for sometime. Full Figured Women letting it all hang loose. Now there is nothing wrong with loving your body, because I love every inch of mine. However there is a right and a wrong way to carry yourself.Last week, I was on a job and the designer was casting models. His clothes are wonderfully elegant and he is a very well known designer. This is the first time that I was able to talk him in to using actual FFW( Full Figured Women) so of which are friends on my Facebook page.

Needless to say that most of these ladies are stunning, totally and completely beauty. Most of them were very well put together, then there was those who had left the house without the proper foundations. Now use like a house, if you build it with a bad foundation or it has a crack in it's foundation it is going to crumble, correct? So why would you leave the house without yours?

Ladies, your bras, underwear, panty hose, SPANX are all a part of your outfit, they hold you up and in, they smooth you out. They make your perfect outfit look FABULOUS!!!!  If some of the most famous Skinny women wear them, Kim K, Gweneth Partrow, Beyonce, then you know they must work. There is nothing wrong in loving your body, but if you look in the mirror and there are things out of place there is nothing wrong with loving your SPANX.

Full Figured Monday Inspiration

This weeks inspiration is non other than Whitney Thompson, I really love Whitney. I had the opportunity to meet her at a shoot that I was doing with a client and she is the bomb. Not only is she a Full Figured model , but the first plus size model to win on America's Next Top Model( cycle 10).
Whitney received favorable reviews on her looks and photo shoots on and off. She was often accused of being too beauty pageantry and was even once compared to Anna Nicole Smith (who's idea was it to turn her into a blonde anyway - oh yeah, Tyra's) We all know that Anna Nicole was Beautiful!. Despite the negativity she managed to maintain and win the title. Whitney this weeks FFF.

Nice shoes for size 10 plus

Well most of you know that I am 5"11 and I wear a size 12 shoe. I consider myself to be very stylish but nice shoes are so hard to fine, most places if they carry larger size shoes they only have two in the bigger sizes. After many years of research I have decided to share with you some of the places that have a great larger size shoe collection. Shoes are so important to a plus size girls wardrobe. They can make or break your outfit, if you want to look Fabulous you have to have the right shoe in the right size.

1) Nordstorms : Very stylish shoes and boots sometimes up to size 14
2)Lane Bryant : Shoes up to size 12 w some of their sister stores have shoes up to 14 ww
3)Bloomngdales : One of my favorites, shoes up to 12.
4)NineWest: I love, love, love NineWest, they have the greatest shoes online and in the outlet stores. Shoes up to 13.
Last but not least
5) Zappos: They carry styles like, Enzo, Naturalizer, Clarks, Cole Hahn, and many, many more. 


So ladies don't be discouraged if you have larger feet, their are some really nice shoes out there for us.

Full Figured Monday Inspiration

My Full Figured Monday Inspiration is none other than, Christina Mendez, Christina has been modeling since 2006. since then she has graced many covers such as Glamour, Essence, Latina and many,many more. Christina made history in the modeling industry as the first Hispanic real- size model to be featured on fashion campaigns such as Ashley Stewart, Baby Phat and Lane Bryant.

 I love her style because she is always on point and put together very well. She gives us FFFW( Fabulously Full Figured Women) a reason to be proud.

Mia Amber Davis, was a beauty beyond compare. She was Full Figured,Classy and Funny. She embraced every inch of her Fabulouness and showed us that it is OK to flaunt your curves. She is and will always be my FFF role model. Love you Girl, rip.
